A few weeks ago as many of you know, I stuck to my guns to do the right thing for Ismail. The Charity who' s banner I was working under, suddenly decided to ask for the money I had left to be locked away.



That would have meant that Ismails Cancer treatment would have come to an abrupt end at a very very crucial time.



I am sure you have all read the hopeful news, of late. (Thank God we continued)



I am not going to go into detail about the apalling attitude of certain people concerned.



If I had been a good boy and towed the line, they would have released a very nice press statement.



But instead the press officer, (who just happens to work for Cyprus Today) tried his pathetic best to shed doubt about me.



Now can you beleive this! One of my Cyp. friends in the UK as told me about a newspaper article that is under a Charity Scam Busting, with regards to this man.



I don't beleive the nerve of some people. I would like to see it. But I am not computer literate

I am not sure, But a Cyp friend of mine in UK mentined that there is something on photo bucket, regarding some sort of scam.



But what concerned me is that it is the person who published the unpleasant press statement about me around 3 weeks ago. From what I gather him an his wife where in Cyprus Today some time ago, and it is on photo bucket.



I cant even find photo bucket.

Watcha Lee, I always google everthing but I guess if you get on the photobucket website and put in what you are searching for ie name/place/subject you might be able to find what it is you are looking for. Snakes always calls me 'Mrs Google' ha ha. Regards, Helena

This should be posted on a topic of it's own for everyone to see.



Can you honestly beleive that anyone would just give you that sort of money ?

Lee you need to get your full facts, Hal and Cath went to court for about the fourth time as they do over here and they won the case, the judge said this is a final verdict there can be no appeal, this couple are innocent, do not throw mud, you are damaging your reputation and the Cheshire Homes, who got Ismail on his way with the cancer treatment.

I must admit that when i saw the article i did find it very interesting that the newspaper ran this story,and also the elderly people in the story accused the persons of ripping them off.

To be honest,with what you are stating and there was a court case,to put the matter to bed and put some peoples minds at rest who do support alot of charities here week in and week out,maybe you can put the final findings of the judge on the case for all to see.It would be quite easy to do that i think.



As im sure it is in many peoples interest if the 2 people in the story where given the money as a present or gift and not lent to the money as the accusers say in the newspaper article,as it is very easy for any one to write some thing,but better to show some kind of proof,proving otherwise.

Does'nt Hal write for that newspaper Dave ????? When I played 2 concerts under the banner of Cheshire Homes a little while ago for Ismail arranged by Lee ! one Friday at Bar8.8 and the next evening at Soyz Catalkoy (a Saturday) I received an unusual call the next day (Sunday) unusual cos Hal has never called me before, at 7pm asking for the Ismail money ! He said ! We were expecting you ! when can we have the money ?? I told him that I would pass the money (1050 tl (not bad eh? for 2 gigs how generous you lot) ) to Lee in the next couple of days which I did and received a receipt for the full amount ! It has always played on my mind as to why 1050 tl was so important to Hal at 7pm on a Sunday evening and why he called ! I felt harrassed and almost accused of stealing ! it was very strange made me feel guilty !!!! Will watch this article with interest (oops) play on words sorry !! regards Barry

To be honest i do not know the man or his wife,seen his face at diffrent venues ive visited for charity functions,never really spoke to him or his oppo scruffdog.



I am very careful when giving money to charity,although i do like to give what i can to people less fortunate than myself,but when i read newspaper stories like the 1 here,it does make me think twice as to if i should put my hand in my pocket or not.

If the people have been found innocent by the courts,get it cleared up so many can start to dig deep again and offer those less fortunate than our self a little bit of our help.

I am very grateful for your help with ismail's early stage help. I will not go into detail on here. But we also helped you in return.



You know how Hal tried to make that press stament sound. Surley you saw the postings after, with people trying to make more out of it.



Did you ever think how we felt, Jan and I helped you raise a lot of money. (we where very glad to).



We had no option but to carry on with Ismails Cancer treatment. Those next few days where crucial.



There was no way that I could tie up our fighting fund.



By the time I could have got another Charity involved, who knows what may have happened.





I was to strong in message 9, and I apologise,that was wrong.



Our only concern now is to try to get Isamil well again .

May I ask how this digging in the past (with undated scans from a newspaper, published on the 'Net by someone who hides behind the nickname "charityscambuster") and the hardly hidden suggestions (mud throwing) help young Ismail and the reputation of ALL involved or writing "details" here?

Maybe you need to contact the CT and tell them to retract the story from the newspaper,also the other stories that where printed regarding johnny lee,which of course left a question mark over johnny lee,s credibility.

But JL is far more credible than most.



It will be here for months and months if it is not cleared up,it is now said a judge acted in favour of your friend,so put every ones mind at rest,and print the judgement so all can see.



It really is very easy to put this to bed.

Johnny Lee is skating on thin ice with his emotional outbursts and some unqualified PR managers are leading him to open water. Johnny should be protected from himself and others who 'help' him. I told him a couple of days ago to be a bit careful with his writings and concentrate on his forte: collecting money for a good cause. I hope he'll take this sound advise. Nothing good can come from threads like this and other threads on this board - started by troublemakers.

And as for the funds for Ismail arm. Why was it not that, the cancer was not treated first as the priority. Because it is my views that it should have been and I honestly feel this is exactly what Lees wishes were and all who have been helping raise monies. Once the cancer treatment was successful then and only then could Cheshire homes continue to use the remaining funds towards a new arm for this little boy. I wonder why we have not heard from anyone with regards to both of my questions. Maybe because nobody has asked Cheshire homes so far for the truth !

I would also like to ask another question with regards to the charity SOS here..Have they come forward to offer any assistance in helping towards this little boys needs. ? Today I watched the Line Dancing in town they are a great butch of people doing so much good work here for charity and Ismails one they are happy to help with. Has Tulips and SOS charity been raising for Ismails treatment to-date and are both charities along with Kibis Line Dancers involved. Cheshire Homes and this Hal thing seems to have gone wrong and too far now. Lets hope the people who trust Lee and Jan completely will continue to do so, I for one sure will and will continue to support all the good work they have done so far and their continued efforts in the future.

Johnny Lee is a warm hearted, caring and compassionate man, it's a pity there aren't more like him. Unlike some people he only tries to help others and will carry on doing this whether it pleases or offends, keep up the good work Johnny, Ismail needs all the help he can get and lots of people are behind you on this.

Lee, nobody (i.e. at least not me) questioned your integrity or criticised your efforts to collect money for Ismail's cause. When we met last week at Guido's I only pointed out that fighting personal vendettas (in this case with Hal Crompton, whom I only know from some occasional meetings in the past six years) would not work out in your favour.

In some threads on C44 I tried to be your personal handbrake again - to no avail it seems. So be it.

Within my possibilities I donated to ANAFI (A New Arm For Ismail) and I will go on supporting Ismail via you.

P.S. What good did the start of this thread did your or Ismails cause? Think it over. This thread and other ones died with the answer of Hal Crompton - which I warned you about at Guido's. The witnesses there may say that I speak the truth.

P.P.S. I will not reply in this thread - you found your supporters re: this sorry thread, started in msg 1, in other circles. So be it.
