Am I assuming you are increasing your prices? If so will you be reducing them when the lira gains strength over the pound?

WHAT ON EARTH HAS THE POUND OR EUROS VALUE GOT TO DO WITH IT. You are in the TRNC driving to a airport, the lira is the relevant currency, like to see you try that on with local

Vicky84 I agree with swyflot, you need to give good value and still make a profit, not align to other currencies or standards. I don't live there but visit often enough to know there are area's where I think youve got to be joking. Its as if the North is trying to play catch up with the Republic of Cyprus, but you don't have the same standards or infrastructure, you only have to look at the Republic now struggling because the tide has turned for the worse. Come on fair play at least give the people living there, including Brits your best price, and perhaps eventually you may even give the tourists a fair price also. Don't bite the hands that feed you!!

Sorry, but I cannot understand either as to what any currency fluctuation has to do with lira prices. We live in North Cyprus, we spent Turkish Lira; cars buy their petrol with Turkish lira; drivers presumably get paid in Turkish lira; and hnoliday makers change their money to Turkish lira, if they have not brought it with them. So, why change prices because of the currency market. And, please explain how you can reduce prices due to the currency market. I am interested but cannot afford those kind of prices to get to the airport. Other threads talk about the cost of living here and minimum wage, and here we are talking of a third of a person's weekly income (or close to)for a ride to Ercan and back. Maybe we could revert to the old days and use donkeys. Would take a little longer, but certainly cheaper.

Vicky84 The prices in the TRNC should be TL, If you are giving a price then use TL. Never mind "WHAT IT USED TO BE" (Bla Bla ) you need to tell your punters what it is now ( TL ) !!! TSC
