I have a son and a couple of friends coming out to Kyrenia in July and he wants to spend a couple of nights in Ayia Napa in the south. Can someone give me a rough guide as to the return cost of a trip and perhaps a place to stay at (they are in their 20's) Ian

He posted on here earlier and I tried to give an answer but was hoping that someone with more knowledge would respond, as I said earlier I have seen a post on here before about tripping to Ayia Napa.

best option is if somebody cn drop them off closer at the crossing point over that way. we used nearest to sovereign base ( pyla?) you can leave your car in the village . taxis are easy from the north to south here . go into coffee bar and ask ,one will be present and give you a price. We paid around 35£ return last year to the water park . you could search for property, small hotel depending where you want to stay .In centre of napa is busiest and noisiest . suggest staying somewhere near adams /nissy bay as its excellent beach and just 3miles from town in straight road? retun taxi as agreed when he will collect you ,back to crossing and home ....a beer in napa last year in the dasy was 4 to 5 euros so wouldnt like to think at night in the square kav

Scarlets Hello, I don't know what travel plans they have but perhaps as young people they might prefer to take a bus. Travel Express in the RoC operate a service that is reasonably priced and reliable and you can call them and book. I'm not sure of all of their pick up points but they do run a service from Ledra St. to all the major towns in the south. 00357 7777474 Some of my older TC pals use this service and recommend it.

Ian Hi, I'm sorry I can't help you there, I do know they operate frequent services but the best thing is to give them a call to arrange your times with them. They use Mercedes Vitos so it's a prompt and comfortable service.
