Hi All

I lost a camera in Girne last Wednesday. If by any chance you have found it or know somebody who has please contact me. Its a PANASONIC LUMIX compact camera, in a black suede pouch with a purple stripe across the bottom - made by my mother so quite a distinctive identifying feature (also bought by parents as a gift)!! Lost somewhere around Maisie Browns, Casablanca Bar, Horseshoe Bar. Maybe I left it on a table and some kind soul has picked it up....

Have you been to the Police Station? When I dropped my purse outside Lemar someone took it there & I got it back with nothing missing - most people here are honest.

We got back my husbands mobile last year and they didn't want to take a tip bless 'em.

They answered the mobile and we met them to get it back. The 4 people in the restaurant greeted us with big smiles. It made our day.

I was driving up the Karpass and left my mobile on the roof of the car before driving off. When I realised it was missing I phoned it and a TC answered who had seen it fall onto the road as he drove behind him. I met him and got it back and, as above, the guy wouldn't take a bung.

There's a lot of good and decent people out there and I hope you get your camera back.

Looks like a trip to the police station...



We rescued someones mobile from the taxi driver the following morning but sadly still no camera!
