It is an auction, the cooks market is on Wednesday or Thursday at the Bookshop in the Village selling lovely homemade foods ,excellent sausage rolls, pies, cakes , jams etc.... well worth a visit.

The cooks market starts at 11am until 2pm but i can't remember if it is Wednesday or Thursday.

I've just commented on this on another thread but just to reiterate, if you're after markets, throughout the week they include:



Weds - Soyz Bar, Çatalköy and Cooks market in Ozanköy (sorry forgot about this one, someone told me they thought it had finished!)

Thurs - Açmanya Restaurant, Alsancak

Fri - Carpenters Restaurant & Bar, Karaoğlanoğlu

Sat - Chateau Lambousa, Lapta

Sun - Pembe Gül garden centre, Ozanköy and Soyz Bar, Çatalköy

This week at the Ozankoy Cooks Market we have mushroom soup with crusty bread for 4tl. This week we have cornish pasties, hot cross buns, sausage rolls amongst lots of other goodies. See you there?

The cooks market is so good I loved visiting it once a week & buying my son the home made sausage rolls, he would eat them as soon as he was home from school. All the home made food is delicious i miss it now i am back in UK but will be back in school holidays so hopefully the market will carry on into the summer.
