need Visa staying Istanbul?

We are planing to go to Istanbul and stay there for 3 nights, Leave Ercan - Istanbul ( 3 nigths)- U.K.

Do we need a Visa? Searched over Internet/website.....some say dont need one if your hold a British Passport, others say cost £10 at Airport. please let us know anyone visited Istanbul recently and how long take to obtain a Visa at Istanbul Airport.

You do need a visa, but the process is very simple. There is a visa desk before you go through Passport control, just give them £10 for each visa and your done.

I was there last week on a British passport, you take a 90 day visa for 10 Gbp or 15 Euro's before passport control. They only put a sticker in your passport so it should be fairly quick depepnding on the queue.

Make sure you have the correct denomination note as they don't give change!
