PHOTO-QUIZ (2): Again I have divided a picture of (part of) "something historic" in TRNC in 20 windows... ▶ The question for you is: How many medieval religious buildings can you spot on the picture AND the names, please?! ▶ I'll fill one or two windows on the picture at random times - but there'll be no winner in this Quiz if in the end I have to uncover more than 15 squares... ▶ Here and there I may give a cryptic hint or some info in this thread... ▶ The prize in this Quiz: an invitation for two for an "Historic Walk of your choice". OK, here we go again: expats, swallows and tourists, show your knowledge about Northern Cyprus... I hope to see new participants in this thread... ▶ ▶ ▶ Click this (shortened but safe!) link to view the Quiz-picture: [ http://is.gd/aum5sB/keywords_famagusta_photo_quiz_02 ]. P.S. Estimated level of difficulty of this Photo-Quiz: EASY... P.P.S. All other Quizzes here: ▶ [ http://is.gd/MHl4g0/keywor

Re : Msg 5, Exactly, No1. If you win this one you'll have to walk one step behind me on all DC's remaining walks. Clarissa P.S. I'm completing the list of 365 churches in Famagusta, one for every day of the year. Almost there.

@ msg 6, Clarissa2: (...) P.S. I'm completing the list of 365 churches in Famagusta, one for every day of the year. (...) ▶ 365 churches? Rubbish for tourists! Unless new excavations tell us different there were 27 churches in Famagusta.

Re: Msg 7, "...Unless new excavations tell us different there were 27 churches in Famagusta". DC, 'The Ancient Monuments & Museums Department' counted 'about 50 churches' in Famagusta. I presume the other 23 are those ones that they have bulldozered earlier?
