No1Doyen I am not a ps3 owner but my understanding is to use 'copied' games you must have a chipped console. An unchipped one will only work with 'legit' PS3 disks. I am not aware of anywhere in the TRNC that sells such 'legit' ps3 games, but there may be. You can buy them in the south, though if PC games are anything to go by they are quite pricey there vs other EU sources. You can also download games for the ps3 online through sony's online systems, though these have recently been subjected to serious breaches of security with customers details inculding cerdit card details being compromised. For PC games I use steam as a means of buying legit copies of games from the TRNC. You could also order physical disks online from the many online sources and have them shipped to a PO Box in the south or possibly even to the North, though they may be libale for import duty if sent direct to north - I just dont know.

Thanks Erolz. My grandson has asked me to get him some to take back to the UK. I'll check with him if he's got a 'chipped' console.

Hi, Hope this helps. Cheapest PS3 games are in the UK. As original games are from the UK and all original games are imported from there plus duty and profit does not work. The likeliness is that your grandson's PS3 is not chipped so your best off buying them from the UK on your arrival. Game store, HMV have a large selection with all the latest games. If you would like to research the DVD shop from Hur Deniz to Bellapais traffic lights on the right sells original games but they are about £50 per game as the Uk are £25-£40. Hope this Helps! D
