| I'm flying in to see a friend before I travel on to North Cyprus. Will I get my luggage across the border ok?
Also, I may have to have my belongings shipped to Larnaca will I get them across ok too? Its all just personal stuff - clothes, books etc. |

| We have friends in the South and we, and they cross the border frequently in both directions with laptops, books clothes and gifts up to 135 E.. If you are not carrying "contraband" and I leave you to decide what this is, your personal belongings for a short stay will not be a problem. Traveling South, at the Pyla crossing the SBA customs are quite hot on porn, prate DVD's more than 40 ciggies and excessive medication for longer than your stay, will cause a problem. Expect a search, smile and act cool, they are only doing their job.

I don't the figures but a large percentage of tourists to North Cyprus fly into Larnaca, even some of the package tour holidays come in via the South. So luggage should not be any problem. We can quote you for shipping your belongings to the South but that's only making things more complicated and you would not be able to stroll through the border like a holidaymaker with a stack of boxes. Why not let us ship direct to North Cyprus for you? We're in Doncaster. If you email me I'll be happy to provide you with a quotation.
