My parents went out there 2 weeks ago and didnt have any problems at all with the road, they went straight out, right the very end, said roads were good all the way. Hope this helps.

We went a couple of weeks ago, head for Talisu, turn left on the new road and keep going, very little traffic and no speed cameras as yet. Great road !

The road to the Karpas has been open since we first went to North Cyprus (somewhere about 1995) it was lovely proper driving with centre tarmac track with two sides gravelled for passing. Do you mean a new road by any chance if so where from?

last year when we went out to the karpaz they were widening and replacing the road and it was terrible, gravel for miles, and took us an age to get out to the end, perhaps thats what he is asking in message 1.

msg 8 - take Esentepe road at mountain junction - go to end - turn left - keep going. When the road stops, you are there. Look out for the new marina on your left though -will be stunning when ( if not already ) completed

I'm not a driver but the recently people for the tractor Safari came from Esentepe/Bahceli area and took the new road towards Büyükonnuk and then followed the signs to Dipkarpaz/Zafer Burnu/Monastir. Apparently all roads are lovely and it took them 1 1/4 hours to the Damla

The new road was also closed for resurfacing between Mersinlik and Kaplica yesterday. The fork in the road just after Kaplica.......turning left and following the coast there are some beautiful sights, especially the caves, however this road is a long way from finished,at the moment it only goes as far as Balalan/Ziyamet.
