Ozzie;

There is a place in Gecitkoy.Drive past Karsiyaka,about a mile down on main road there are 2 of them,by the beach.The second one,run by Karsiyaka football club has a place for self bbqs.I think there is a small charge for the tables.

There is also a nice picnic area at Horseshoe Bay on the way to Kayalar. It is right above the beach although the beach is shingle, not sand.
