Are you looking for an online order system that sends notification of orders to your kitchen staff who then prepare the delivery, and you collect payment for the order on delivery?



If that is what you mean then yes, and what a good idea.

If you mail me a menu with prices I will make you a working example. You can include the web address on your menu and fliers. Plus you can advertise your site in other places on the net to broaden your customer base.

What would I be looking at cost wise for a website of my own

Main things I would want are on holidaylettings website

The villa is the priority with perhaps a link to a page for the apartment

A decent picture gallery is essential as is an availability chart and email contact function

As a professional web designer and an online marketer (SEO, EPR, content optimization expert), I can tell you that you are better of advertising through reputable agents / or otherwise sites than having a website built just for 2 houses. Of course web sdesigners would design a site for you if you pay but will it be visible to sell anything or will it be just another "OH! I also have a website..." ego satisfying job, is another matter. The cost of having a website is very cheap but, the cost of having a professional website that will respond/show to online searches by people using key phrases needs a lot of time and regular expense to keep up with the search engine activities.

I can go on for the next 3 posts and explain why this is so, but to cut a long story short, the expense of creating and running up such a site would beat the purpose (i.e. for renting out just two properties for 3 months!)

At the moment it costs me about £1500-2000 pa as I advertise on three separate sites - I was just interested in the alternatives

Only issue I really have is that if i want to let an independent enquirer view my properties i have to refer them to a website that also hosts all my competitors and so they may extend their search to other villas / apartments on the host site

message 10, Very true, if you are to spend the time to get top google rankings, then the return on the effort must be worth while. though in this country you are not going to have too much of a hard time getting ranked for most things considering that the competition for the keyword phrases is so low compared with the rest of the world

Look at it this way, 1 delivery service menu, 1 job, 1 section complete, the entire menu will have to be itemised on the website and a customer buying price allocated to each menu item, that will then be shall we say "added to cart" . the orders from one person to one shop will be made via 1 section,



If you are talking about having your own firm that basically gets customers for the delivery service providers then you will be needing a different section per restaurant.



Each restaurant will need its site section creating individually,



So how much it costs is related to everything,

If it breaks down then it may need fixing, though things are usually pretty reliable with the internet, if the site goes down its usually due to the service provider "hosting company" .



So the reliability will be 99% down to choosing a good host.
