Anyone know the best place to buy a length of hose for the pool vacuum. I just had a price for 12mtrs of 120tl which seems a lot of money.

Thanks.

I went to several places last year and they were all the same price, except for one guy who was over double. There are a variety of different hoses though, some soft walled, some firm walled. I got a soft walled one and it was useless as the suction on the pump was too great and it sucked the walls of the pipe inwards, so no flow. Hope that helps a bit.

I bought 15m for 100tl from a shop just east of Erdener supermarket Karakum. It is near the end of the parade of shops. I thought that was expensive.

I got a load of stuff from a guy called Noyan on 8606828 and the price was very good. As message 3 soft wall hose useless just crumples on pressure of pump - His shop is on east side of Girne opposite Lemur's - ring him before you go he has no name on his shop and is not always in. Speaks good english as well

You would think that you could join 2 hoses together as mine has a small crack in it, so I need to chop about 2 metres off which would then make it too short for my pool.

Thanks for the replies anyway.

Hoses don't work like that! They are made up of a circular polythene type material that overlaps itself on each turn ( try pulling your old one apart ), once they start to go, don't waste your time trying to repair, just renew.
