Does anyone know what the rule is about bringing small used electrical appliances from Turkey to NC. I seem to remember for some reason that it is not allowed, and if it is you have to pay tax on them.

as they are used (and look quite used) I think you are duty free --but it could depend on who's checking and good luck on the day. :(
