I wish you luck and hope you succeed. Be aware though, generally, partnerships don`t work.

$1000 a day is nice money. Remember, every thing in Kiprus is much more expensive than Kusadasi. Good Luck !

mkusadasi - I believe Kusadasi is a popular holiday resort in Turkey? Perhaps I'm wrong Problem is, I do not know of any "crowded shopping centres" in North Cyprus, unfortunately, where you might open a business such as the one you are thinking of? Good luck, anyway. Jeannie

Kusadasi is nothing like anywhere in TRNC, not even an Ephesus close by, though some may argue that Salamis may come a close tenth! I think you better do some real homework and spend a month or so in TRNC. Richard

mkusadasi. no my friend, im a lover not a fighter. i try to offer you good advise. In TRNC is difficult to try and make a good business, you need to be the only person with the original idea and the only person with access to that product. I understand, poolexpert the other day thought the same as you do !!

Hmmm...a 4 sqM cafe or buffet that sells either Tea, Coffee, toast and fast food or Baked potatoes in a shopping centre or Hotel? Isn't that a Burger Van parked in the car park?

could anyone clarify - if i go into business with a cypriot, do they have to own 51% ? - if so doesn't sound like a very good "partnership" to me. Barry

You do not have to have a TRNC citizen partner, but the requirments for setting up a business here as a non citizen without a citizen partner with 51% ownership are sadly horrendously onerous, requiring large sums of cash to be despoited as 'security' and probably more besides. My understanding , which might be wrong is you could have a cypriot partner with less than 50% ownership, but the compnay would still then be treated as if its owned by a non citizen and be liable for the onerous requirments. By making 51% citizen owned you can avoid this. Not a great systme in my view but thats how it understand it works currnetly.
