Anyone renewed their UK passport recently

Please can anyone advise on the updated info for renewing a UK passport from North Cyprus. Am I correct in thinking that the application has to be taken to the Consular office in Lefkosa ( Shakespear Ave, 29 Mehmet Akif Cad ) and if so, can anyone please give directions on how to get there. Also, this may be a very silly question but does your residency stamp automatically get transferred to the new passport?

Not good at directions but re the residency stamp, what they do is cut the corner off the old passport but leave the residency stamp page intact, so if leaving the country you will need to take both passports until you renew your residency and get a new stamp. Sorry I can't help you with the rest as I did mine nearly 2 years ago and things have changed since.

and its only open wednesday and friday mornings 09:30 and 12:30 not like the website says Tuesday and Friday- BRS hold forms if that helps



We found it easily but no good at directions i know its near ledra palace crossing, We were told to turn opposite where you get residency from straight ahead at the roundabout and its on a corner.

Right, I'll give it my best shot......

Got to the main Lefcosia roundabout, straight over, towards the hospital. Carry on until you get to the set of

traffic lights, which has a jeep garage on the left hand corner. Turn right there.

Carry on along that road until you arrive at a strange roundabout, go straight over that, beware, you give way

to the left.

The Consular office is just up there on the right hand side.

They are very nice people, and they love cakes, hahaha
