Hi does anyone know which Casino is best for amateurs, and if there a minimum bet on the roulette table etc.( I'm not keen on slot machines ) I want to go with friends why they are here but just want to go for a bit of fun so would not want my 50tl to run out to fast Lol any point going with that sort of limit? Thank you.

The Colony is probably the best option, and if you go in when its pretty quiet (not the weekend) and put your 50 TL on the table and ask for a colour, you should get about 35 chips, each to the value of 1 USD. Good luck Michael

Most casinos work in currencies other than TL. They will take TL, then exchange it for US $ or €, then give you corresponding chips. If you win, they do the same in reverse! The exchange rate has a very big "spread" which assists these casinos in tough times. The Dome casino use TL and you can play roulette. There is a minimum bet on everything apart from single numbers, which you can place a single 1TL chip. If you want to try a little "system" and have some fun, let me know, we can meet up and I'll explain it. Try it for free on-line. You pay me only 10% of what you win. If I cannot convince you 100% that it works, do NOT try it.

Went to the Colony in the end and it was a good night did not realise the drinks were free until just before we left which was a shame but my 50 tl lasted out so had some fun. Thanks for the offer Texas but I did not see your message until today perhaps another time maybe.

İs it true that if you are a temporary resident here, fully paid up to date, you cannot gamble in any casino unless you have paid some kind of annual fee?

I dont know but we had to take our passport and our residency stamp is in there but nothing was mentioned. Although a friend was saying something about our TC neighbour frequenting the casino and that he would be in trouble if caught so maybe that is what she meant,
