Hi There, I am new at this so please bear with me!!

We have a pool on the Ozenkoy area but it is surronded by Pine tree's on one side.

I am considering a pool cover to try and bombat the needles and debris but not sure which type, i.e winter debris or bubble wrap type.

I have a gardener who cleans the pool twice weekly but still finding the pine needles are a nusience!!

Can anybody advise and also is it cheaper to buy in the Uk and fit ourself or but in Cyprus and have fitted??

We are coming over in 3 weeks so would like to try and have it fitted or bring it with us then.

Many Thanks

Jokim

we bought a wnter debris cover for our pool. Got it on ebay for £100 and brought it over in our luggage allowance by plane. It certainly keeps our pool clean during the winter months. We usually take it off in April and cover the pool again late October when we are over. I have been told pool covers are quite expensive in the TRNC especially if it has a roman end like ours.

Jokim,

We too have many tress around the pool but we have experience of pool covers looking bad due to birds etc. The real problem was the leaves blocking the check valve so the water level dropped flowing back into the balance tank which then overflowed. Water loss and damage to pool equipment resulted.

We found the solution. A butterfly check valve was fitted. We have not had to touch it since!!

I now have butterfly check valves available. At £40 not cheap but superb Austalian equipment.

Call 0542 850 7517 for immediate delivery or contact your pool company. who will purcahse from us and fit.
