Veta and I saw a UFO over Limas(s)ol - the night we got engaged - it was REALLY frustrating as we didn't have a camera and I deliberately had my phone turned off.. by the time it booted of - "they'd" gone.. NOTHING could have moved and stopped then moved across the night sky like those lights did... :(

I would think it is something like a seed which was captured as the camera took its shot every minute or so, it looks close to the lens, also if it was a UFO it is not very symmetrical, one "wing" is a bit different to the other

| Hi mmmmmm, It's a still from Nigel Heasman's weather site... http://www.nigelheasman.com/wview/img/Current_Plus.htm couldn't believe it when I saw it. I thought it would refresh before I could save it. After I saved it I went back to his web site, and it was still there, thought he'd noticed it, and left it up, but it refreshed after app 8 mins :-( I did see something that was following a plane into Ercan a while back, but wasn't too sure, until someone else posted on C44 about it. | Hi Marion, The photo in the link above is the only evidence of it at the moment. What you see there, is all there is, at present. If you visit the site it was spotted on, you never know Navek |

Hmmm, so, what are all the reasons why it can't be a IFO instead of a UFO? e.g: To me, it looks like a plant seed/flower lit from above. Perhaps oats are grown nearby? However that bright light in the middle could have been more interesting...if we didn't already know that there is a house at exactly that point ;-)

Two of us saw a UFO over Geçitköy at the end of last summer. It was white/silver, high in the sky, and suddenly and very quickly started moving in a way which would have been impossible for a plane/bird/balloon etc...... and then it simply vanished.

It appears to be a hang glider after croping and blowing up on photo shop.

If it is indeed a hang-glider then I wonder if there is a source of weather aftercasts to see if the conditions supported such flights. All the same, the "wings" just look too much like a high performance design if it were indeed NOT just an oat husk

It's either a hang glider or a kite.

I have used graphic software and took a closer look at this image. It is not clear if it is superimposed on the camera image or not, but I am convinced the image is touched up using some kind of photo enhancement software such as Photo-shop or Fireworks! The central (belly) part is definitely smudged and/or blurred. The lines outlining the image do not look original either. I would say, a poor imitation of "Nessie" perhaps?

Hi bigOz, I had a close look too, agree, it does look as though it has been touched up, but how did it get on to a live web cam? The photo's time & date stamped, bottom right. If you look at the time it was posted on C44, I would've had to be very quick to alter it. Anyway, who says ET's have to be the same size as humans? Navek

This is not a hang glider the wing is to narrow, if it was a hang glider and the wing was at that angle it would be coming to the ground very fast, from the photo I would be guessing it is a kite the lines you can see are not the lines of a hangglider harness.

Kite! You can see the line going from bottom of kite to lower left-hand corner of the picture.
