hi there guys

i have found another petition if you guys want to sign it

what it is about is all e.u countries have a list of languages that are spoken in their countries when cyprus joined in 2004 they did not want and did not include turkish as a language spoken in cyprus and they have been fighting it ever since but now people are saying this is blatant discrimination and a human rights concern

this petition has attracted some high profile people Lord and Lady Maginnis of Drumglass, Baroness Ludford MEP and Sir Michael Graydon.

thanks for responding im not sure why the count is low its not like it has not got any press echr - e.u - lords and ladys - and few influencial people have added their weight to this subject

im quite surprised this subject has not been responded to a lot more posters unless all the other posters are not bothered because it does not concern them

but anyone who lives or holidays in north cyprus should jump on the band wagon

Turkish Cypriots are indigenous to Cyprus. Why give validation to Greek Cyp. lies and propaganda that TCs are an ethnic minority in their (TCs)own country? The fact that the EU is not accepting Turkish as an official EU language is almost tantamount to accepting that the TCs are not indigenous to Cyprus. This is an example of racism against the TCs on the part of the EU.
