Passport change of name

Hi I recently got married and we are due to move out at the end of September. The problem is, at present, my wife's passport and the plane ticket are both in her maiden name. She would like to change her passport whilst still in the U.K. but that will cause problems with the flight ticket still being in her maiden name. Anyone any ideas of a simple cheap way around the problem?

Maybe take the old clipped passport with you!!

Keep all the documents in your wife's maiden name in case you want to buy more than 1 donum or 1 property.

Best way is to change the passport here when you arrive through the BHC.

It will have to be sent to Spain if you wait until you arrive here as passport renewals are no longer done at the British Consul in Nicosia.
