Convert Visit Visa to Employment Visa While I live in Cyprus- Pls help

Hi,



Greetings for the day,



I am currently in India, I have been offered a Job in Limassol -Cyprus,



My employer (in Cyprus) is arranging a visit Visa, as per him I have to come on Visit Visa first & then while in this month he will convert it to Employment visa,while I live in Cyprus on visit visa,



Now I have a simple query, Is it possible that My visit visa is converted to employment visa while I live in Cypurs,



An earlier reply with helpful answer would be really appreciated.

You are really asking on the wrong board, this one is mainly for TRNC (North Cyprus) a different Country in so many ways from the RoC (South Cyprus) an EU member state.

Yes,the rules in the south are different. when I lived there, i went in on a British passport so was able to stay for a certain period of time while my employer got a work visa. Now of course, it is different for me as it is EU, bugt fo ryou, I guess you MUST have a visa in order to enter the country.

what does your employer say -or do you not feel happy? In which case try contacting the RoC office on line and ask yur question.

Same answer Liojet. You are asking the wrong Forum. You need to get onto the Cyprus forum FOR THE SOUTH. You MUST ask the authorities in the south, or better sitll the person who is going to employ you. If they don't have the answser, then maybe you shouldn't trust them enough to come! Good luck.
