I'm sure it's not possible to import a LHD car.

For safety reasons.

No doubt someone else will have more info.

There are a lot of left hand drives here and some of them quite new so it may be possible. a while ago the government were restricting them but i think it was only the very old ones.

no they stopped the import of left hand drive cars a few years ago

only the ones in circulations are on the roads.You can't import them anymore.

Why would you want to import a LHD? I understand that cars here are expensive, but so would your (LHD) be after paying the tax and duty, and you would find it hard to sell when you leave. pay more for a local car, and get more back when you sell it. save the stress and hassle, and have better vision on the road.

Maybe A lot of the stretch limos are left hand drive too and there seem to be more and more of those about now.
