Border insurance office closing time on Wednesdays?

Can anyone tell me what time the insurance offices close at the Metahan crossing on a Wednesday? Already in possession of the tax certificate but need to buy insurance and am looking to cross at around 6.30/7.00pm. Thank you

There is always one out of the three open till 8pm, maybe later in summer.

Went to Pyla crossing on the 6th August to go to Larnaca airport, crossed through crossing and went to house for insurance, no answer. Went back to crossing and was told insurance agent had gone to Turkey on holiday, was told to go to Mehtehan. If we did this I would have missed my flight, so had to take a chance and drive without insurance in the south. Just to warn people that you can't always get insurance at Pyla.

Pyla crossing does not exist for anybody other than UN pers. I think you mean Beyarmadu/Pergamos. Why did you not 'phone in advance? We have always found them very helpful, even advising xing at Black Night when they were closed. Uninsured in the RoC is an absolute no no. What if you had killed somebody!!!
