Friends went there to this location when they were out last year. It has changed hands and is now the Hillside. Does anyone know if it is the same type of food served ie: local cuisine. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Myself and friends try to go on Thursdays, the guy who runs it speaks very good English, his menu is limited but the food is of good quality and consistant. I love very soft fried eggs and he even invited me into his kitchen to show him how I liked them cooked, never had that sort of service anywhere else. The prices are very good and we can not fault the steak. Have never tried his Sunday lunch but for the price he charges it must be good value.

Thanks for the feedback Posher. I take it it is mainly English food then ?. As my friends loved it because it was local food and very very friendly people running it. So it sound as though the menu has changed but still very friendly people, could be the same!.
