A Friends of SPOT Awareness/Fundraising Event



Teams of 4 register at 40tl to take part in the race/s on Sunday 25th Sept. at Guzelyali Beach, Karsiyaka.

Build your raft at home or assemble at the beach in the morning using recycled materials, safety checks & judging before the races start at 2pm.



Prizes for Winners, Runners Up and The Best Use of Recycled Materials -Total Value 1,000tl

12 prizes for 12 winners from a choice of 6 options.

I've been asked about rules :

Team of 4 must start on raft & at least 2 the whole race, all must be in contact with it at finish line.

Start West end of beach, & finish line - East at jetty.

Rafts can be made from any used items - broken table, empty plastic bottles, oil drums, used wood etc

No motors, no rowing but paddles are OK.

Capt. must be over 21 & responsible for his crew, who must be swimmers. We have backup safety boats.

Teams are responsible to remove all craft/debris to skips provided at end of the event.

No 'phyical' contact between teams.

Judges (independant) decision is final.

ooops, teepee, I think you mean 'physical' - we don't want people saying i thought you could touch, because I don't actually do 'phyical'.



come on guys, roll up and register. But make sure you get it right cos I am one of the judges - so BEWARE.
