We are delighted to announce that the popular rock band Pearl will be performing at The Black Olive Cafe in Alsancak on Saturday 17th September from 7.00 to 11.00 pm

Pearl always perform for charity and will be supporting The Kemal Saracoglu Foundation For Children with Leukemia and Fight against Cancer and the purchase of a Defibrillator for the local community.-proceeds from the event will be split 50/50.

Good food will be provided and there's a raffle with great prizes.You will also get the opportunity to enjoy Danny's famous guitar solo.

For those wishing to have 5mins of fame why not sing live with "Pearl". You can do this for a small donation so please contact me on 0533 8614873 for more details.

This promises to be a great night out and I know Vicki is determined to make it a success so please support her and "Pearl " by attending the event.

Yesterday, our fund-raising team went to the Saracoglu Foundation's offices in Lefkosa to meet the people who run the Foundation. They are a dedicated bunch. One or, two of them may even show up on Saturday !

lf you have not seen the Pearl Band before as it was not in your area you are in for a Real Treat. They are fantastic.



The sounds that come through the mics are the sounds that they are making with their instruments, no Boom Boom Boom. lt is sheer pleasure just to listen to them, also get up and have a dance.



We will refresh are selfs after are long morning in Lambousa , with are Kemal Saracoglu Foundation Charity Stall ( up on the Top level by the entrance) so we can enjoy another evening with the band who just get better and better.



Well done to the band.

Charlie......I don't know whether we have met, but thanks for the donation.

It was just too hot to do much yesterday so, we just set up and did a quick sound check.

The band is looking forward to the gig and after this one, has nothing else planned - we may even take a short break from performing, give the audience a rest and spend some time adding more numbers and recording a CD - who knows ?
