You don't meet foreign gay people but plenty of local men will sleep with you for a price.

Best bet is to use international gay sites on the internet to sort out a meeting. There are lots and you'll be suprised just how many men there are in North Cyprus who need a bit of comfort. And if you can get to the Other Side, then it's really not a problem to find gay people.

A little history lesson.

During the height of the British Empire and Colonial rule circa the Victorian era the aristocracy and wealthy upper middle class British families with 'renegade' son's deemed it fit to send them off to the colonies for correction but most probably to 'save' the family name from any embarrassment their behaviour/crimes might cause. These people were known as 'remittance men'. Kyrenia became a favourite destination for homosexuals (then a crime) for them to be sent to, whilst others were sent to places such NZ, OZ, SA etc. for other misdemeanours.

So to answer Msg1, Kyrenia has a history of having a gay community which is tolerated today but with discretion in the public arena.

Why is it that as soon as someone raises their dislike and/or disagreement with homosexuality that the 'confused about your own sexuality' and other such ridiculous comments are raised?!



People are allowed to disagree and should not be chastised for replying to the original posting. Those that are trying to 'shut up' the commenters are nothing less than bullies themselves. Freedom of speech allows for the comments and just because the answers do not adhere to some people's 'open and accepting' way of life does not make them wrong.
