| We had some marks in ours where things had been thrown in and left, it was suggested to us to use a piece of pipe in order to put chlorine directly on the spot ie put the pipe in the water so one end is in and one is out and pour the chlorine down the pipe. We did this and it worked, The same person said that marks on the side could be solved by putting chlorine in a stocking and dangling it on a string so it rested on the area, that we did not try as it was not needed but it is a good use for your old pretty polly's! |

| Is the black spot/s between the grouting or on the tiles? If between the grouting it may well be black algea,to really kill black algea and get rid of it for good you may have to drop your PH to around 6.5 or 6.0,after a couple of days give the walls a good brushing and it should fall away,if you cannot get any PH+ to bring up your PH level after doing this then drain off/backwash several tons of your pool water and add fresh water, this will take your PH level back up. Zerochlor will not kill black algea on its own. Hope this helps. |
