Sing around in the Ozankoy area

Looking for any budding musicians,singers etc interested in a sing around once a week on the East side of Girne.

Not karakoi, a get together in one of the local bars/clubs where you can play along with others to any type of music and it does not just have to be music ,odes,poems. Anything that will entertain and give enjoyment to yourselves and others.

Perhaps there are establishments that would like to host a sing around each week. we could have a different location each week but only East of Girne.

Hi Candi,

We seem to be a bit short on musos here on the East side. Hoots in Ilgaz is pretty active most Tuesday's and I jammed there a week ago, then in the Square Saturday with Stringfellows.

If you get something set up and need percussion give me a shout, I use a Roland electronic drum kit and it's quiet enough of any small venue where they don't normally allow acoustic kit. I also have a full PA and mics, mixer, foldback etc if it gets serious.

I think it is a great idea and although my musical talents are extremely limited I would be interested.

Perhaps you could teach me a couple of bars on guitar, as you know it is something I have always dreamt of but just never got round to it.

Also have two establishments willing to let us use their premises and there must be more out there East of Girne who would not mind us getting together in their place, if so,then give me a ring or use this forum.
