I understand there is a Holland & Barrett down South (I know we don't have one). Anyone know where abouts it is and whether its near one of the "walk overs" on the Border. Thanks.

They sometimes have some very good special offers but in general they are more expensive than the UK. Last time we went they had some 70% off offers on short dated items.

As they are so expensive, does anyone know if the same sort of items are sold anywhere here e.g. flax seed or oil, Ginger pills, Cod liver oil, Alfalfa, Omega-3 oil. Thanks for your quick responses.

I often buy vitamins etc., at Aydin chemist near Starling Lapta. I even got acidopholis there which surprised me.

Cod Liver oil/Omega 3 from practically any chemist. There are two organic shops in Girne, One is very close to the Anafartalar School on the road that runs up from the town to the small water fountain roundabout near Cafe Dukkan. The other one I have never been to but it's signposted from the road that runs from the HSBC bank to the town centre and which then forks right, again to the Anafartalar School.
