Plane lands in wrong place at Paphos

A Thompson flight landed on a taxi way rather than the runway at Paphos Airport. It's just unbelivable!

It is clearly numbered 29 on the runway, whereas the perimeter taxi area is not. Could have been worse, could have gone to Akrotiri.

And what were the Air traffic controllers doing at the time?? Probably asleep.. Looks like two pilots having an unpaid holiday or even the sack...With all the modern technology they have in the cockpit nowadays there is absolutely no excuse for that sort of cockup..I would like to see the outcome of Thomsons enquiry,so if anyone comes across any info please send it to my e-mail address.....

Pilots................probably had to much time in the bar before take off.





Was in China a few years ago at an airport bar didnt know i was drinking beside the pilot of my flight, untill i saw him being assisted to the plane by a member of ground staff later slightly the worse for ware.
