Does anyone have any info, I've looked in various garden centres without luck OR does someone have a plant I can take a cutting from. I have a yellow one potted up from a cutting to swap.

Thanks

I had a beauty [red] in Paphos - but I warn you, if you think the white ones are slow growing, I can tell you that our red one was much slower - in 3 years, in an ideal position, with an automated irrigation nozzle at its base, it remained perfectly healthy, but refused to grow much!

Also, the red one, being quite rare, costs 'an arm and a leg'!

I never saw any large specimens, so obtaining a cutting would be pretty difficult.

The garden centre on the right past Vogue and on the way to Alagadi specialises in different coloured frangipanis...try there, they used to have lots of different varieties.

I bought a red one last year from the garden centre in Alsancak. It's opposite Atakara, but up a bit.

It didn't cost an arm or a leg though. It's growning lovely and has given me a good show of lowers this year.

I had some in my garden in Catalkoy (stripped ones as well) and before I left I gave one small cutting to "skybluesam".

I originally bought them over from South Africa where they do grow quick.

@ msg 2: Right. The same experience in our garden. Slow growing compared to a white one some metres away. And not as many flowers, the leaves not as nice. Hardly smelling (compared to the white species).
