hello me and my best friend are looking to rent a place for at least a year in the north of cyprus. Anywhere from esentepe to lapta. two bedrooms are required and we are looking to rent from any time between december 2011 to february2012. Any takers x

there are always the two properties at baglikoy, but I guess that is too far out. But it is REAL North cyprus. But is this 18 yearold a student? There are places such as studios which you might get for that money,but to be realistic, to be in the girne area, you must think of £300 a month minimum. Depends where you want to live and what lifestyle you want. the nearer to all facilities the higher the price. the more rural and removed from Girne/Nicosia, the cheaper.

But as a former poster said you might have a diffficulty getting someone to allow you to sign a contract ifg you are only 18. Maybe you will need a guarantor such as a parent etc.

I have a 2 bed apt in Lapta for rent at £250pcm including the site maintenance. I cannot guarantee though that it will still be available when you come out.
