Can anyone tell me why cars are advertised in £stg and not TL?



Looking to buy car asap any area.

Sterling is a more stable currency than TL. Also cars newly imported to the island are paid in £'s (taxes etc) and so if there was a flutuation in the currency it would be possible to loose money rather than make a profit. Does that make any sense?
