▶ I agree. (Again) I don't say all's OK in TRNC. The difference between you and me is that I have reasons to see and say that there is beauty on the inside also.

There's enough whining and moaning on this board - I try to write and show pictures about the brighter and interesting side of life in TRNC.

Not all of us want to read about the dark side of TRNC life in any thread about anything.

@ msg 15, davpat: Let's not forget that this site claims to have about 15.000 members - but only a couple of hundred are more or less regular, not always positive posters. I can't believe that the silent majority are all disappointed expats. They just don't feel the need to post and that's a pity, because we can use a more balanced look at TRNC life. I wish you good luck with your relocation and a happy stay in TRNC!

Having seen a few of my neighbours, who all called out hello, or merhaba, used a bit of turkish in the shops, and generally felt good. I thought I must write something on the forum when I get home. ▶ There is already a place where you can view 'all pictures of anywhere" - it's called the Internet and to find them one can use Google.

I think that promoting TRNC with pictures from TRNC deserves priority in this thread and on this board. But I may be wrong of course.
