Hospital For CT Scan Girne ?

Does anyone know of a private hospital in Girne that does CT scans and roughly how much it would cost. Do not want to go to Lefkosa

Unless anybody knows any different, I do not think there is anywhere in Girne that you can get a CT scan - Lefkosia would be the nearest. Near East are probably the closest (0392-6751000) or Letam in Lefkosia - they are excellent (0392-2273147). Ring and ask them for prices but I would think you would be looking at somewhere around 500/600TL. Both of these have English speaking staff which is important. Went to Cyprus Life with a friend and nobody in the CT department spoke English - complete shambles!

I had a CT head scan in July at Cyprus Life (Medikent) which was 220tl. A chest Xray at Near East last month was 90tl. Hope this helps. There is an English spoken lady at Cyprus Life which Chris (Nurse Awful) is able to contact and help with appointments as she kindly did with me. With a little sign language and a few Turkish words, I managed to get by.

You do really need to ask for a specific price though as it depends on what area is to be scanned. This is why I gave you the phone numbers.

The first turning on the right after HSBC in Girne, has a private hospital on the right that does CT scans, I think it's called Kyrenia Medical Centre, but I don't know the price.
