Yes the ROC has decided not to accept TRNC automatically hence the delay while they check them. What next?? How does this help the so called peace process?

I think that you will find that TC's crossing to the south do so much quicker than their GC cousins coming to the north.

Greeks playing games again, i was turned back for defective vehicle, its diesel and they claim the exhaust emissions were excessive, its just been serviced, yes there is smoke but no worse than many other cars, another car was also turned back while i argued with them BEWARE

Seems they are playing silly beggers over vehicles! went across today and they cancelled our MOT because we had Spotlights on the front bumper! WTF?????? WE have to remove them and go and re MOT! let us through today but as I say MOT concelled till we go back!

One of the problems today was that the gc were not allowing TC to cross with TRNC ID cards, saying if you are a TC you should have a ROC id card. I had this problem a month ago when I tried to cross, the women got shitty at me asking how I got aTRNC id card, I told her because of my husband! she said i had to get a RoC card. I informed her I had tried but they wouldn't give me one. with that she let me through.

The Cyprus Mail says perhaps it is aimed at stopping mainland turks from crossing. They are not allowed to cross what ever id they carry.
