| Please does anyone know the official stance on UK citizens who have either residency or work permits entering the casinos here? I was told around 6 months ago that the law changed and once again UK citizens were not allowed into the casinos if they had either of the above, and if they did go in and were caught, they would be heavily fined. Needless to say, I've not been in a casino since. However, I would like to go again one day and was wondering if anyone knows the true official regulations at the moment, as I really cannot afford to risk it. Thanks |

| Bill passed on Monday increasing licence fee by €200,000 to €500,000 per year! A planned initiative to allow TRNC Citizens to gamble in casinos if they paid €5000- per year was dropped! Citizenship has normally nothing to do with residency. Also personnel who work in Casinos will have to pay €1,000- per year! Casinos are also fined up to €5,000- if a TRNC Citizen is found gambling in the Casino. Casinos do not though have the power to initiate Immigration Checks at the Entrance. |
