Having booked and paid for a week's holiday next March I have now received notification from Cyprus Paradise holidays that the holiday is cancelled and have received a full refund - so no problems there except that I am very disappointed. I have been looking at flights and prices on Pegasus airlines, can anyone explain what 'Kampanya' as oppose to 'super' on the list of flights and prices means please

I am sorry to hear that ajaney. The same group "cypruspremier - cyprusparadise" cancelled my 3 x 3 week holiday packages last winter at short notice, spoiling my whole winter's planned breaks!

Try mercury-direct, who offer good deals up and until the 31 March 2012.

angela T, why don't you contact them? there oculd well be something you should know, but surely only they can answer your query.



and also the word Kampagna is quite simply 'campaign' - or special offer as mentioned above. Good lucvk wityh finding a replacement holiday if you need it

Last year i contacted them every few weeks asking for confirmation that my booked holidays were ok, and every time i was told that everything will be ok ... only to be told 2 weeks before the first package holiday that they wanted 100% more than what they advertised for me to still take the package they had offered me.

Marion, I have been given no indication that there is anything wrong. I have just seen this thread that is all. I have a confirmation from Cyprus Paradise. I'll take your advice and give them a ring just in case.

To Angela: Take Biggles advice after you have checked with Cyprus Paradise. I have heard stories which I have had confirmed. Of course that does not mean that holidays will be badly affected, but they could be, so best check it out. But of course WalkerScott's posting is a bit scary.

Thanks Walkerscott for the information. I will try them. I have called cyprus Paradise today and they did not have enough take up for the seats they had booked with Onur Air so I beleive they are not using that airline, therefore they are cancelling some of their special offers

They have just made a lot of their staff redundant and I believe are closing the Cyprus office.

UK office not affected though.

Cyprus Paradise have been filling the Hotels here with a special offer during Nov Dec for £149 for 1 week BB 90 people came into Pıa Bella Saturday evenıng and some people went to other Hotels the plane was full.
