| Have noted comments that it has a short use by date but this is immaterial if it is kept frozen. Just use it on the day you defrost it for safety I certainly will go and get some! |

| Just be aware it is cut so thin you can almost see through it, very tasty though. |

| bacon only lasts fro 3 weeks approx frozen, the fat does not freeze hard and will go rancid even though frozen. |

| I suspect it depends on how efficient and powerful your freezer is. The fat on the bacon I defrosted over the weekend was like permafrost. However, once it is defrosted we make sure it gets eaten pretty quickly. |
