Any ideas please, tried Storemax this morning they only had re-chargeable emergency lighting. Everything else sold out.

What do you mean they only had re- chargable emergency lighting.?

Thats normally what emergency lighting is. A light with a battery that is trickle charged while mains power is on, and when mains supply fails ,that battery supply cuts in.

The only other emergency lighting supply woulld be from an emergency generator,but that does not just supply lights.

Have you tried Mr Pound, they did have some LED battery operated lights (but maybe sold out now?) which give out quite a decent light.
