I was not going to post this here, but there is someone posting on NCFP calling him/herself 'here' saying ridiculous things like a K5 case was dismissed today because no-one turned up, and then went on to say the same thing happened at the High Court yesterday. For the record the hext hearing is on Thursday 9th Feb at Girne District Court.

PollyMarples Did you buy and pay for your "K5" house without first having obtained "permission to purchase?"

Why are you asking a question that has been answered so many times. Almost everyone here bought and paid for their villas and applied for PTP simultaneously. Since it takes two years plus to get the PTP,(for foreigners) we were all assured that was the way it is done here, by Advocates. Do you think there would be even one person in the mortgage queue if PTP's were given so that transfer could be simultaneous with handing over our money? I did get PTP, eventually but too late, as did every other person on K5 and every other person whose builder fraudulently mortgaged their property/ Those who were fortunate enough to have an honest builder followed the process in exactly the same way as the victims, the only thing that separates us is LUCK. i am of course referring to foreign purchasers.
