Doesnt ANYONE konw anything about mainland Turkey? I would like to find out from a WELL iINFORMED PERSON who is in the least bit interested in what are the laws in Turkey? Do people with children get any help from government. Not UK government,Turkish government in Turkey itself!

About 4 million people in Turkey receive state aid, according to figures by the Social Security Institution, or SGK, in March 2011. With family members of aid recipients included, the number translates to roughly 16 million people relying at least in part on state-provided assistance. Around 2.56 billion Turkish Lira was spent in 2010 on Social Security.

This is a reply I got from my friend in Turkey she has two children, there is no child benefit, there is a green card system given to poor people they can get some help from Government. In general people have some form of insurance usually paid for by their employer with this children up to 18 can get free medical treatment. Is this what you were looking for or is there anything else.
