| Does anyone know any limits on carrying Foreign Currency (Euros) out of NC?
All legally obtained and capable of declaration.

| No idea what you can take out of here, but on entering the Roc i think you come under the EU regs and their limit. |

| my understanding is if you declare it and have proof of source you can take as much as you want. |

| used to be 9,995-00 stg but check out prior (same as U,K.)
also carry very good proof of ownership of such i;e, bank statments, letters or notes of ownership, these should be in turkish and english.
declare at customs you are taking a large ammount of cash out of R.O.C. and very important why you
are taking STG out, for what reasons,these have to be veryfied by someone of HIGH POSITION.
wish you well ,in U.K IF YOU DO NOT DECLARE THE SAME AT CUSTOMS THEY ARE WITHIN H.M.C. RULES TO TAKE "SAME "AWAY FROM YOU UNTIL YOU CAN PROVE ITS LEGALY YOURS AND ITS NOT FROM UNLAWFULL PROCEEDS. I THINK IN R.O.C. IT MIGHT JUST GO WALKABOUT.BUT THATS A GUESS. |

| Brinsley is correct, there used to be signs at Ercan saying this, not sure f they are still there.
If anyone wants to carry larger amounts though, get a pre-loaded cash card at Turkbank and take all you want out in plastic, nothing for the 'cash dogs' to sniff at. |

| you can only take out £10k from any bank here if more they have to notify the goverment
you can put into the bank as much as you like |
