Hi

Found this webpage by accident, but looks great! Can anyone let me know what the weather is like during Xmas and New Year? My husband and I are planning to visit Kyrenia/Famagusta this year.

Thanks

We were there for 4 weeks over Xmas/New Year just gone as we have been for the past 8 years, this time the weather wasn't as good as previous years in fact it seems like it has deteriorated over the years it was certainly much colder, there were some sunny mornings but generally clouded over after 1pm ish. had some rainy days and thunderstorms but didn't keep us in the Hotel much we just made the most of the holiday. Will not put me off going this year same time.

I have been visiting for about the last 10 years over Xmas/New Year and the weather is variable. You do get some nice sunny days but it can get chilly in the evening. On the whole it is much preferable to the weather I am leaving behind in Wales so no complaints from me.

We all complain about how cold it is around this time of year, but when we compare it to the UK and the rest of the world we realise that its not that bad really

We have stayed at the Pia Bella in the last 8 years, comfortable Hotel nice warm rooms friendly staff and good party atmosphere Xmas/New Year, the same people tend to return each year. Mercury Direct did special offers last year some people came in having paid £149 B&B for 7 nights.

I always stay at the Ship Inn. Comfortable, warm and clean rooms, friendly staff and good food. Nice log fire in the afternoons if it gets chilly. Has everything I need and I enjoy it every year.
