The bar/restaurant is Paparas and is next to Turk Bank in Karaoglonaglu. It is currently closed. Inside it is modern and fresh and in an excellent position on the main road. There is a versatile new kitchen that has hardly been used. It has a £20k pizza making machine which is fantastic

I used to love the sandwiches they made there but was not surprised when it closed. You had to park so close to the road, with only space for two cars. If you parked on the Turk Bank carpark, then you got blocked in (understandably!!) Also it was very noisy and dusty in the summer. I agree it is smart and modern though.

Tango,the sandwich shop is next door. I never experienced the problem to the same extent although there is dust everywhere in the summer

Sorry aboput the confusion TheScarlets. Yes you are right and I realised as soon as I sent the message. Paparas had the huge Pirate outside didn't it? Lovely people but I wasn't surprised it went wrong (pity they didn't advertise the rear parking) because all you could see from the main road was the spce for two cars and if they were filled, then you tended to drive past. I know they spent an awful lot of money on it and bought the best equipment, also the best cappaccino coffees I've ever had. I hope they get a buyer for it.

I agree Tango, lovely people, spent a fortune but the people running it have been poor business people with no idea whatsoever of marketing their bar/restaurant. Russ who is the owner is coming over next month to see if he can find some new people to take it over.



This place has huge potential with the right people. Hope it open again soon as it is the best pizzain town becuse of the machine and an easy place to drop in and out of
