Would love to look up the prices but can only find a website in Turkish. If you know of an alternative web address in English would be grateful if you would post it. Thanks

Thanks for your replies. I have not managed to get onto the website with english translation but have managed to work my way round the Turkish. Doing a comparison travelling out to North Cyrpus for a 'weekish' I have found Turkish airline fares to be comparable. Choosing between the two I would prefer to travel with Turkish Airlines who I have found to be very good against the unknown.

If there was no tax or service fee then this would be just a little more than we paid with Pegasus for June, however with these two it works out another £140 per couple, not quite so good.

Don't forget to add into the equation that AtlasJet don't charge for food and drink or seat choice (if you use those facilities with Pegasus). Even not allowing for those, my trip in June with Atlas is about £75 cheaper. You have to shop around, though. If I travelled a few day later, the difference would have been in the other direction.

I just checked out the website and it looks like good new for anyone wanting to bring a cat or very small dog with them from the UK. Not sure about the bit where it says on arrival in Cyprus pets go to quarantine for 10 days? Have the rules changed again?? Before they would fly dogs as our two came out with them years ago, but looks like only very small ones now?

Turtle, There is nothing wrong with people bringing dogs, as long as they take them home again! What would you suggest people do, dump them and leave them behind in the UK?

Actually my ticket is just on hold so have not booked the flight on their website. Printed off their email but in turkish it reads add another 16 if you book line, add another 26 if you go through the Agency. Why it quoted £178 Im confused.

Yesterday I booked seats on Atlas Jet for a week in early June for £660 return for 2 people, Ercan to Stansted. I booked them through Ankara Travel and I know I pay extra in Commission, but I don't care because I don't like booking on line (don't ask!!!) It was more than Pegasus (but not a lot). However the times are better (depart 8.15am) Arrival time back at Ercan better (21.45), longer leg room, complimentary drink and a meal served. Actually you also get a bread roll filled with cheese or something and a coffee on the short flight from Ercan to Istanbul. I know all there is to say about airline meals, but I don't dislike them and it does fill in some time. 20Kg baggage, plus 8kg hand luggage.

Tango, I booked flights with Monarch last week, 2 x people , Larnaca to Stansted, end May return in June, 560 euros. That was with leg room seats both ways and 2 x cases on the way back. I was booked with Cyprus airways but they cancelled the flight.

Sorry blade, but I don't do Larnaca. Can't be bothered with the hassle of driving too and from. Just a matter of preference. I had lunch yesterday with someone who has been using Larnaca for 8 years but was persuaded to do Ercan this time and she is completely converted and says she won't "do" Larnaca again. She is now a convert to Turkish Airlines!!!

I tried the ercan route once and was just too long to be in a plane.I've got back from the US quicker!! Am happy with the larnaca route. BA business, hand luggage only ....straight into hire car and 1 hr drive. My record from plane door to hire car door is 10mins.

304GP, out from Larnaca, Monarch to Manchester and back from Stansted to Ercan with Pegasus Got a bit expensive due to wanting 2 different airports!! And at the time of bookings no other flights to Manchester and singles with Pegasus are always pricey!! Like Turkish air but hate the plane change as the time is usually tight and I cant walk fast enough!!

Periwinkle, I'm just repeating what Ankara Travel told me, plus what I'm reading on the ticket I'm looking at now. Obviously if it turns out to be 25Kg luggage allowance then I'll be very pleased!!

Been very impressed with Atlasjet, ie legroom etc., each time we've flown with them, although only the short trip to Istanbul. We are happy to pay that little bit more to fly with them. Wouldn't even check the Monarch web-site after our last experience of them, even if they were giving flights away lol!!!

No i am here. Been busy and just seen this. My mistake. My origional flights were larnaca to stansted with Cyprus airways, who just cancelled my booking. I did get a full refund just incase anyone is wondering. I should have said Larnaca to Luton. But the price was correct. A bit upset as Cyprus airways was 100 euro cheaper, they did offer me Heathrow as an option but for me the taxi home is to far, so opted for the refund. We usually check all sites before booking but prefer larnaca as flight time is less.
