Odd phone calls in North Cyprus

Each day this week I've received a phone call, some days two calls from this no 440336.

A woman speaking in Turkish,then hangs up.

I've tried phoning back putting the prefix 0533 in front.Told by the operator,"You have dialed a wrong no:

Anyone else getting these strange calls?

Sounds like a call center number.

Apart from the nuisance value I was becoming a little anxious because I didn't understand what the woman is saying

I trawled through the menu on my phone to see if I could block calls from that no.

It's not an all singing all dancing phone and doesn't seem to have an option for blocking individual no's

Hopefully it will eventually stop as did the Beyti Kebap texts after driving me nuts for weeks.

At least I knew what that was refering to

'oh those text messages drove me mad too i used to get dozens a day from all different firms. They seem to have stopped now. I think it should be illegal for the phone company to sell your number for ads I hink it is in the U.K.
