Have never been able to find good quality pans in the TRNC at all. If anybody knows where you can go for these I'd be interested. Last ones I bought came from Alpha Mega in the south, high quality, made in Italy.

Try Erülkü supermarket over the mountain road, on the dualcarriageway to Famagusta. I bought my last frying pan from there. The better quality things they have are not cheap but they are a better quality.

Avoid yapi markets / tin pan alley etc.

I have found the best quality (and reasonable prices) are from the agents that supply hotels and restaurants.

I can't recall the name but there is such a shop along the short cut road that joins the bellapais lights (on the main road from the Lefkosia roundabout to the Girne Rroundabout) to the Girne town road (i.e. instead of taking the road to Bellapais you take the road opposite the Bellapais turning (hope that makes sense). The road is only about 300 yards long and the shop is half way along it (on the right as you head towards Girne).

It's brilliant for glasses and crockery too (as long as you don't mind white). Hope this helps...
